DEAD BANG LOGIC: PSYCHO ANTI-ABORTION STYLE

I am against murder; abortion is murder; in order to stop murder, I commit, uh, murder.

Is that like "to save the village, we had to destroy it" .....?

These headaches, start in the back of my eyes and work their way up to...oh, well. Never Mind.

Guy's hero was probably Eric Robert Rudolph, famed dumpster diver.

At least there is some symmetry to "Dead Bang Logic".

Yesterday in Little Rock, a Muslim shot and killed one soldier standing in front of a recruiting station and wounded another.

His stated motive for the murder was that he was angered by all the Muslims killed in Iraq and Afghanistan.

So there you have it:

Dead Bang Logic: Psycho Anti-War Style.

But still, since the national press is overwhelmingly anti-war and pro-abortion, I doubt this will receive the play the abortion doc murder did.

There is truth in what you say but, as a fair-minded commentator, you have to concede that the Dead Doc was a very public figure/image and the tragically killed soldier was not. The Doc's history explains some of the massive coverage.

BTW, I know a little something about he Muslim Community in Central Arkansas. Greater LR would be much the poorer without them. My family, friends and I have spent many happy hours in their company. Any group is going to produce wing nuts and there will be no sympathy in the LR Muslim community for this fellow.

BTW, when the LR thing was handled as Breaking News on CNN, the local reporter from LR did a Hell of a Job of explaining why the soldiers were there and what had occurred. Her biggest challenge was to get Rick Sanchez to shut up long enough to let her relate the real story.

I concede nothing; I had never heard of Tiller until he was murdered. I'll grant that this story was juicier than the LR one from a press POV due to the fact that Tiller was killed in his church, but I consider myself fairly well informed and knew nothing about him---nor did I know only three docs do late term abortions in this country. Guess I need to keep up with my abortion politics.

OTOH, the LR killer is a member of two protected groups; he's an American black who converted to Islam.

Obama was swift to condemn the Tiller killing---the LR murder, not so much.

On another hand, the LR killer had been under investigation ever since he spent some time studying jihad in Yemen using a Somali passport, and had admitted to the FBI that he wanted to kill as many military people as he could, but in the new! improved! 9/10 mindset, they waited for him to kill someone before acting.

Hmmmmm, I wonder if American black Muslim converts were included in the Homeland Security memo that called returning vets (among others) terror suspects? :-D

PS: As a (lapsed) Lutheran, I was shocked that the abortion doc was actually doing these awful late term abortions. I would have expected him to be a Unitarian or Episcopalian instead. He must belong to one of the more liberal synods rather than the more conservative Missouri synod, which most Kansas Lutherans attend.

The former AG of Kansas made a career out of charging Tiller with something like weekly. If it hadn't been for airdrop of Sebelius back into Kanasas the fact the AG had the personality of cheesgrater, he probably would have been Governor, essentially compliments of Tiller.

There was a demonstration outside Tiller's clinic almost every day. His place was like a shrine for pro-life activists.

I may be wrong on the number but Tiller had been tried, and acquited, at least three times for various alleged abortion-related malefactions.

Not to take a side in his worth as a person, I'm only pointing out that he was a massively public figure and the publicity is sort of justified on that basis.

You've been reading me long enough to know how I feel about soldiers being killed, especially when the killing is based solely on their status as soldiers. Don't intend to minimize that.

So a "terrorist" killing a US soldier on US soil is lesser news? Maybe he had to use a bomb to be counted as a terrorist. And MSM would have US believe he was an angry Baptist ... his motives may have been "religious". It takes the internet to dig a little deeper usually.

I never heard of Tiller either, but I heard of Obama ... if the fetus survives the "abortion" ... he still didn't want to call it a human with a right to live.

In any case, a Muslim terrorist murdering on US soil would be big news, but it does not fit the MSM agenda. How many found out he was Muslim and on a watch list? Yet the gasping about Tiller is still echoing.

UMR, thanks for the tutorial. I was vaguely aware of constant anti-abortion agitation in Kansas, but Tiller's name wasn't familiar.

I used to live in Kansas, but now my focus is on the atrocities committed in Illinois. ;-)

**********************

anon, I was driving around today listening to the local news station when they announced the motive of the LR killer was "political and religious".

What a hoot! Let me guess----the killer was Amish and trying to gain attention so the government would give their textiles, wines and foodstuffs wider distribution.

But of course, it wouldn't be prudent to mention the killer was a black Muslim convert when Obama is on his Middle East apology tour.

But FWIW, at least the LR murder has been classified as a terrorist act and the Wichita murder has not.

Perhaps some would like to read brilliant lawyer Ann coulter on the subject. Of course you may have to appreciate her sharp wit to enjoy her piece.

Apparently playing off Obama's recent stance that we can't impose our values on others, as well as the liberal stance on abortion ... (and stating no one is FOR shooting abortionists) she sarcastically says ...

"Following the moral precepts of liberals, I believe the correct position is: If you don't believe in shooting abortionists, then don't shoot one."
