I am all for it! Finally, there would be some structures along that godforsaken stretch of road. Stopping every now and then would help keep me from falling asleep out of boredom, which I nearly do every time I drive it.
The only drawback I can see is that the tollbooth operators might die of loneliness.
Our friend The Editor at the Quincy Onion is missing in action. I'm having Onion withdrawals. Do you know why he is missing, or where he has been taken? Is Tookiegough holding him for ransom?
Barry to the Ill. River bridges isn't bad, some decent scenery anyway. From there to J-ville though...I try to drive that way at night so the depressing lack of anything doesn't put me to sleep.
