NATURAL BIRTH ABORTION

Is the only appropriate term that comes to mind for both the logic of and motive behind the Suit to prevent Obama from being sworn in.

Born of American Citizen on American Soil--How hard is this one?

Would we be having this conversation if the Father was a white guy from Canada?

This is a terrible waste of time and money, not to mention how divisive this action is to the country itself.

In the midst of a soft depression, every profession hurting from the Wall Street slide, and this is what "some" are worried about. I don't get it.

1315,

Ben Nighthorse Campbell set the cause of Native Americans in public office so far back, it'll be awhile.

0606,

It doesn't matter to me whether it's excessive partisanship or racism. It's, as you so correctly pointed out, horseflop at a time when we need horsepower.

Clarence Thomas was one of the SCOTUS justices who thought having Florida election officials follow the order of the FL Supreme Court to recount all Florida ballots would create unnecessary uncertainty about the results of the 2000 presidential election.

Let's assume that the plaintiffs are right. What's the solution at this point? Does Thomas want the Obama electors to pick someone else to be POTUS?

If the ruling comes after Obama is in office, are we going to "undo" the decisions made by POTUS Obama?

The plaintiffs missed the boat. It's too late to make this case. The votes have been cast.

Since the plaintiffs have no substantial affirmative evidence of their position, it's doubly ridiculous Thomas listened to this nonsense.

The law exists for good reason,if he was born on american soil, just prove it and be done with it! Why is it so hard to do?

Anon 1539,

You might want to read up on this...and, while you're at it, study the writings of Emily Litella.

Hi Carl,

Ah, the "certainty" thang...that was then. Now, he's gotta tune in to Antonin to find out what the policy is for non-precedential decisons in presidential elections this week.

TYFCB, good to hear from you.
