THE GOP JOURNEY TO FOUR DOLLAR GAS

Major pipeline break in BP infrastructure in Alaska. Probably worth a .50 increase. (Be a good idea for you to get gas before lunch time today). How'd you like to be the incumbent party, looking for crossovers when you're the guys who brought em' four dollar gas.

Guys, the four dollar gas is wallpaper behind all this. It spoils the picture for the GOP and their pals the "Earl Men", not to mention Uncle Dick has secret meetings (presumably unarmed) with the "Earl Man" buddies.

Anon 0853,

You're not gonna get any argument out of me on that one. The Senate Dems Break three ways "Earl Man" States/Ethanol States/States of Confusion.

Still, my remark was about voter behavior. Parties don't do well when they are standing for reelection during a recent gas spike. This is at least a spike.

Without question, however, your point is, sadly, well taken.

I offered a multi-point plan to relieve our dependence on foreign oil during the post-primary Democratic primary Anon 8:53. The most important aspect of the plan was a Manhattan Project for energy. The project in the 1940s employed over 100,000 people and brought together some of the brightest minds. That is the level of focus needed in this situation. The energy policy needs to be completely diversified. Many conservatives focus solely on fossil fuels - getting more oil. Jim Mowen the former Rep candidate from RICO and I have debated this issue. He wants more drilling - I want hydrogen, but biofuels until we can affectively use hydrogen. We must also have new vehicle technologies E85 vehicles for example, but also electric cars and other technologies. Mass transit also must be a part of this comprehensive plan. How can we pay for it? Well, that requires a complete modernization of the IRS. Funds are needed to modernize the IRS computer system - a system that is relatively unchanged since the Kennedy administration. It is estimated that between $300-$500 billion dollars are lost each year because of the IRS' inefficiency. It is not the organizations fault it is Congress' fault. You would not have to even raise taxes for my energy plan - merely ensure that the wealthiest Americans pay the taxes outlined under current tax law. I am not talking about those that make less than $500,000 a year - their taxes will not rise. No more innovative tax shelters or HQs in Bermuda. In fact, I think there will be enough revenue to not only fund my massive energy plan, but to balance the budget while we do it. I just wanted to make sure that Anon 8:53 knew that there was a Democrat that proposed an energy plan - I was ignored because I don't have the money that Jill Tracy has. Too bad my Dad has worked in a factory his whole life – if he would have started Dot Foods my idea may have been a good one. Maybe I will get a chance to forward this plan in the future.

Lootie,

It was that growth spurt, I grew up through my hair.

Tyler T. went WAY up in my estimation when he showed Edmund's great catch and added "And there's the injury but that's just Jimmy". That boy might have gotten some brains from his mother's side. (Sorry L, couldn't hold back.)

Oh, Please Stop! You're hurting me. Lootie's back porch is becoming more famous than JLopez'!

And, yes, he's the whitest white man this side of Navin Jones. He even claps opposite the beat box.

Now stop it!
