MELON SALAD, MELON SEASON
Happened to eat a wonderful melon salad yesterday and sadly noted the season is coming to an end. All that reminded me it was probably time to take down the Rob Mellon for Congress Website.
Rob, when you start blogging, I'll link you. I doubt you're done sharing you views and maybe even your service. GodSpeed.

I would take down my site, but I am not done running for Congress just yet. There are some serious issues that I am interested in - and the current politicians have only offered up half measures. The special nominating process for me was the beginning. I learned some real lessons. I am now looking to build a base - raise some seed money - hire professional assistance and make a serious run. I promise to get more than 98 votes next time.
Not suggesting you take it down. Just didn't feel right remaining linked while our Pary has a nominee running.
You don't have any enemies at this Blog.
Continued Success!
TYFCB and please continue to do so.
Lootie - I am tired of the methodology to running for office - it only results in candidates who are virtually the same. A truckload of lawyers (no offense UMRB) with groomed hair and packaged, processed ideas. That inhibits innovative thinking. You should not be surprised that major issues in the country seem to be ignored by the Congress. I do not remember Jill Tracy running for anything before she was appointed to the General Assembly - Lootie have you criticized Tracy for her lack of previous political experience? In addition, I do not think Hare or Zinga either one has held elected office in the past. I cannot be the anti-establishment candidate and then use traditional means to gain political office. Moreover, the issues that I focus on are national issues - I cannot accomplish my goals running for the County Board. I am not disrespecting the work of the board – I just focus on other issues. Lootie what steps do you think I need to take to overcome this obstacle? In regards to my website it is still operational because I wanted to keep the address open so I could use it in the future - it is not set up right now to challenge the party's nominee. It may be a good idea to change the title of the site, though.
