I don't like the c&p format (for me) but this is a very interesting overview of the Treasurer's race by DJW http://djwinfo.blogspot.com/2006/02/mangieri-versus-giannoulias-primary.html . There a few typos but it is pretty clean, disengaged analysis. The comments are as interesting as the analysis.

As I have said here before, I'd be proud to support either man but I really can't figure out what Knox County suing Maytag for "runaway shop" has to do with investing Illinois' taxpayers' money.
