ONE SEEDS

These are the folks I think the committee will put in, not necessarily the ones I think are the best four teams in the nation.

UConn
UConn's a no-brainer. Forget that they all hate each other, lech after the NBA and can't stand their coach. These guys can all play.

Villanova
Villanova is a doughnut team. No realistic chance to win the Championship. Still they play a pretty game and benefit from their conference being perhaps overhyped.

Duke
Duke is Duke. Unless their coach is having a nervous breakdown, something in the Old Testament requires they be a one seed.

Texas
Texas will win their conference tourney and Memphis and Ohio State won't. Thus, Texas will get the last one seed, which should, by everything good and holy, have gone to Memphis. Texas plays in a conference that is questionable this year so nobody really knows how good they are this March. Plus, there is always the chance that they wander into Dick Cheney's range while walking to class. In terms of Final Four material, probably not as good as Memphis, Ohio State and maybe even Pittburgh and Gonzaga.
