CANDIDATES' RULES FOR SURVIVING PRIMARY ELECTION NIGHT
(WIN OR LOSE)

Rule One: Remember, Same two teams play next week;
Rule Two: Candidate are like laboratory animals. The public recognizes they are necessary but does not form any real attachment to them and particularly does not want to hear their woes;
Rule Three: Pledge your support for your party and promise to help it in any way you can;
Rule Four: As soon as the election returns are in, stop making your campaign points--they either had traction or they didn't;
Rule Five: Thank your supporters and staff early and often;
Rule Six: Have something kind and gracious to say about your opponent;
Rule Seven: In case of anything that doesn not seem to fit into Rules three through six, refer back to Rules One and Two

I think it will be interesting if Volm does lose the race by a wide margin. It would mark the first time in Adams County history that a blog played a role in the outcome. 10,000 hits is very impressive. Step back and watch the imitators arrive.

Guess that didn't happen ??? Did It ???

Any true Democrat that voted for Georgia Volm should be ashamed of themselves tonight. Because if you voted for Volm, you obviously felt it wasn't important enough to support your party. You can dress Georgia Volm up any way you want, but the fact is, she is a Democrat in name only. I have never been so disappointed in my party as I am tonight. For those Democrat's who saw through Volm's charade and went to the polls for Eric Carper, you have my upmost respect. For those Dems that actually supported, and worse yet, voted for this snake in the grass, well, my contempt for you knows no boundries. As a party, we had the chance to make an important change today, and we failed. And why did we fail? Because some Democrats were too selfish and/or stupid to realize that they were voting for a puppet of Larry Ehman and the Republican Party. I hope these so-called Democrats will one day realize that they voted for the same person that numerous Republicans crossed over to vote for. Must make you proud to know that you let down your party!

Anon 1053,

We all say things on election night we really believe but aren't constructive. Sleep on it. Dem. Party's always been a broad, inclusive party, not an exclusive club.

Thanks for stopping in.

Last night the voters spoke and the outcome may be unpleasant for some. The Q's prevailed. A more Qualified candidate as far as I have heard. The Quality of a good campaign. One that I like best is she is so Cute. Thanks for the information on this election.
