MODERATION AND ABSENCE
For the next four weeks, I am going to be involved in two major projects for clients. I have prepared a number of journal entries and will post fairly regularly. I will look in on the moderation screen (I haven't screened anyone out yet) and approve posts at least daily. It is unlikely I'll be able to reply for at least the next week.
It is unlikely I'll be visiting anyone else's local or any of my usual membership blogs during that period. If readers have comments or questions for me, I'll try to answer when I look in to moderate. Thanks.

Tony,
Read your bio you forgot genial hardcore leftwing democrat. By the way give me your professional assesment of Chris Scholz lawyering abilities.

Thank you. I wrote in repsonse to an earlier comment that I was having a little javascript problem and I would link the Q-Blogs in. I certainly intend to add yours as well.

BTW, when I made reference to "cutting and pasting" in Blogs and that wouldn't be what mine was about, I intended no criticism of your technique. Don't stop doing what you're doing.

I benefit from your pre screening. Still being paid by the hour limits my browsing time. You recall about those annoying day jobs, don't you?

Anon 1048,

Rules of Engagement prevent me from answering Question 2.

"Genial" is like "Affable". Its dictionary definition is a compliment but it's become almost like "damning with faint praise".

I'll cop to "hardcore democrat" but I'll have to demure to the "leftwing" part. Just for starters, I'm not a pacifist, I think marriage is reserved for one man and one woman (at a time, anyway) and I've actually sought the death penalty. Oh, and for the gunowners scoring at home, I have one of the original FOID cards from 1968 and It's successor, nice and current is in my back pocket as I type this.

I guess I am a little soft in this regard. My daddy taught me when I was nine years old two things about gun safety. First, when you raise a weapon, you're responsible for everything downrange. Second, when bird hunting, never shoot tighter than 45* to your walk line. As a consequence, I have never managed to shoot a hunting companion. I concede that's left of the administration.
