NOT "RAPE-RAPE"

I really couldn't care less what happens to Roman Polansky but his arrest has certainly prompted the artsy-fartsy left to seize the opportunity to look foolish.

The list is endless: This shouldn't happen because he's a great talent. It wasn't (my personal favorite) "rape-rape". This shouldn't happen because he's a philanthropist. This shouldn't happen because his wife was murdered by whack jobs. This shouldn't happen because he owns property in Switzerland. This shouldn't happen because the show in Switzerland was to honor him.

All I know about this caper is he pleaded guilty, skied and continues to make money off the American economy but avoids her justice system.

I just hope it gets over soon so people who identify with my political party (but not necessarily my world view) can stop with the babble.

The money quote from Polanski:

"If I had killed somebody, it wouldn't have had so much appeal to the press, you see? But f*ucking, you see, and the young girls. Judges want to f*ck young girls. Juries want to f*ck young girls. Everyone wants to f*ck young girls."

Aside from the blech quotient, aside from the fact that I don't want to f*ck young girls, aside from the fact that some Humbert Humbert thinks we all think like him, I was more offended by Whoopie Goldberg's it wasn't a "rape-rape" bit---what an embarrassment to our gender!

Feminists everywhere insist that even though we're drunk, the Y chromosome crowd must read our minds to determine if we want to do "it" or not. Back in the day a simple "no", a slap in the face or a knee to the groin was sufficient---now we're all victims.

Sheesh!

Major networks are also complicit in lying for the rapist, saying she was willing, just a little young.

No ... she was drugged and still said no to every invasive thing ... it WAS rape rape rape ... though he pleaded down to statutory, then ran from even that when it looked like he might not skate free.

This defines our Hollywood nuts ... of course Whoopi also doubts we landed on the moon moon.

I meant to add ...

UMR ... please take the keys away from the drunks driving your party ... and set up a designated driver service or something. I know there are some sober people that could drive a little close to the center line, and we'd all be better off with them at the wheel.

Roger That.

What amazes is me is I look at my 14 year old daughter and think what I would do if someone did that to her.
And then the loonie-lefties, do they not have kids, or grandkids? Do they not actually run the scenario thru their head what or how this thing would play out if it was someone they know and love who was abused?

You would care if it was your 13 year old that got raped. I would think you'd like to see him in jail.

Wow,

Look at the last two September 30 comments for a perfect example of two people reading the same thing a different way.

When I said I "don't care" I meant to imply he's not my cause and I don't care if he bunks in with a large gentleman from South Central for the next 25 years.

I think my favorite Whoopi moment wasn't the "rape-rape" thing...it was when she said something along the lines of "would I want my thirteen year old daughter having sex? Not necessarily"
