CRABTREE'S ERROR: WHEN DEALING WITH MILLIONS, GET SKILLED HELP

The best WR in the NFL draft is muttering holdout.

Crab, tell your peeps to shut up. In fact, get better peeps. You're gonna be a multi-millionaire anyhow. Sign a short contract with an evil roster bonus in two years. You'll be a superstar and they'll have to pay you big time on the second split. Nobody loves you when you're not playing.

Oh, and you're cousin's your advisor? How'd that work out for A-Rod?

Hate to agree with general consensus, but rookies often get a substantial amount of money based on hype or "upside". If he sits out a year, the memory of his catch against Texas will be 1.5 years old rather than the half year now.

He's gonna get a buttload of money for signing this year. If he doesn't play at all, nobody's gonna be sure he can still get separation. He has a true gift for both the short ball and deep ball. That's what he has to sell. If there is doubt that ability has left the building, he value plummets. Who's to say he's even a first round reentry draft pick?

Holding out is a mistake. Barain hard, sign, go to camp. Bargain for a one year huge roster bonus so they love you and have to pay to keep you.

When you're dealing with millions, don't get your repesentation from Circle K.
