GUN CONTROL
Not watching network TV, I miss out on stuff like this but a dear friend sent it to me. Just entertainment, not looking for a political message.
The Upper Mississippi River Basin:Life, Worship, Sports, Transportation, Golf, Politics and other bizarre behaviors in the Upper Mississippi River Basin. The Quincy area has a history of tolerance. We seem to suffer fools gladly.

Don't you watch Boston Legal?
Now that was funny as hell ! At least we know it is fiction , because in real life the good guy never is armed . The good guy's gun is usually locked up in a gun case with the trigger lock and the ammo hidden on an upper closet shelf .
I used to record "24" and watch all the episodes at the end the of season. Writers' strike gutted that for me.
Other than that, I probably haven't watched a network TV show since "Miami Vice" went off. All news and sports, with a little History Channel mixed in.
This clip is all the Boston Legal I've ever seen.
TYFCB
Ommmmm, I'm tellin..., Tookie's makin' it political!
I was under the impression that MA was not a concealed carry state.
This could not happen in IL since a law abiding criminal would never use a gun to rob a victim since it is illegal.
I do 24 .......about it
He could have just shot the punk without the monologue. Thus is the influence of Dirty harry on our culture.
Oracle,
Wasn't the "punk" just being a good Democrat and redistributing the wealth? I mean, this is a metaphor, right? You got the poor, black, downtrodden Democrat who just can't get a decent payin' job, no matter how hard he doesn't try and the fat, rich, white, self-made, self-described "Bigshot" who, when it is all said and done, makes the poor guy's life even worse than it was in the first place by being greedy and refusing help a brotha! I mean, he don' need dat watch. He kin jis' buy another one and now not only do I not gots a damn watch! I gots three new holes in my ass, leakin' blood 'n I cain't walk! How am I s'posed to not look for gainful employment if'n I cain't walk!?
Ya would know it, laws don't apply to criminals or lawyers.
Loved this..maybe I should start watching Boston Legal.
