FICHIGAN OUTTA PLAY, NORTH CAROLINA IN PLAY

Your friendly Basin is in the Old the South, but we still see Yankee TV.

Michigan abandoned. Volunteers from the Ol' Souf, being deployed into NC because it's too close to call there.

Johnny Mack trying to crack Ohio and Florida but the undecideds are quivering like a giant bowlful of electoral jello.

The only places left for Mccain in two weeks will be Puerto Rico and Guam.

Tookie's team almost lost to Kinn'tucky, and they 're still ranked so high. What gives?

Both Sagarin and BCS programs reward wins against quality opponent above all. 'Bama will have earned it if they hold onto their ranking. They have a tough way to go.

Keep in mind the SEC is not only very good but also very dynamic. S.C., for example may not have attracted much attention early but they are a tough opponent. Mississippi is very uneven but the Team No One Wants to Play. LSU's no day at the Beach.
