If nothing else it shows the only way to fight insurgents is with trained counterinsurgency teams and great intel. Using light infantry to occupy fixed bases is a terrorist's delight. It's like a buffet.
You don't send a plumber to do a root canal.
The military is to be praised for putting this multidisciplinary team together. Civilian leadership is to be questioned on why it took so long to clear it.
Not related, but too bad Pujols is out, you gotta admit, Pujols vs Thome would have been great!
Meanwhile, can only hope OB-L is next for twin 500# special delivery faster than Dominoes.
(maybe OB-L warrants 3?).
A really good sniper shot would be so much more personal.
