Blame myself for that, in a way. I supported (no longer) pro sports to a fault, paid for tickets, parking, concessions, hats and T's, and probably paid too much, because pro athletes make too much. Vick shouldn't have had that much money at his disposal to engage in this dog-fighting ego-power trip (if you look at the psychology behind it, that's what is was, all about power, dominance, and control). In a way, everyone is guilty here, everyone that ever patronized the NFL, Falcons, ESPN in any way. Our NFL money was funneled straight to Bad Newz Kennels, and that's what you get when you over pay people, they get to amp up and magnify their character defects.
The above is likely extreme, sorry, but it makes ya want to patronize amateur HS, & college only sports, doesn’t it? I know, one bad apple doesn’t …. Just too many of these stories lately. I used to work with a gal who loved to watch the little league WS exclusively, saying “I don’t support those over paid pro…….” thinking now maybe she was right.
Vick was stupid. Bad decision . Bad company . Bad advice .
Stupid guys deserve the boot. He will piss away roughly $200 mil .
In a few years he will be broker than he was as a frosh at Va Tech .

That's an interesting take.
Colin Cowherd often says, "When you take a jerk and make him wealthy, you get jerk on a greater scale." He was specifically speaking of Randy Moss @ the time but the point intersects your, more specific thoughts.
