PERSPECTIVE

One minute we're pursuing our job goals, our future is bright and our kids are doing well. The next minute, we're struggling to regain normal health and just live out an opportunity to enjoy our loved ones.

Smell the roses folks. My dear friend Chuck is not the first and he won't be the last to get gut punched with serious medical news.

Think about it.

Thoughts and prayers out to our friend Chuck Scholz. He is a natural and has served the public good and has clearly shown to be a good and honorable citizen and gentleman politician.

We are so grateful for his service and even in this crisis he has shown strength and courage. This is more than class, this is character. I really think we should all give thanks for having been blessed with a fellow like Chuck Scholz.

Forgive the addition, but, I must comment on the 6 p.m. news on channel 7 with the Ehman interview. Get this one Tony...instead of saying nice things like the paper, I guess this fellow wanted to run over to channel 7 and say even more stupid things. It did not air at 10 on Channel 7. Thank you WGEM for making the story about Chuck Scholz as we all owe him so much. Ehman should have stayed home. For those in the know, there are many republican attack dogs that prey on the misfortunes of others, go to church picnics and bad mouth people. Perhaps this event will make them think about what is really important as Chuck Scholz so proudly told us in his press release. What a guy.

Thank you Chuck Scholz for all that you have done and will do in the future.

From those that will be still writing your name on the ballot...with hope for the future and with hope for a speedy recovery. Thank you for being there for our community and we will be there for you.

I would ask the anonymous poster that cannot spell Ehmen what stupid things Ehmen said. I live out of range of your local media, so have no way of knowing.

Dear 1509 Sentence Structure Whiz,

Struggling through your "English as a 12th language" prose, I take it you don't admire Chuck as a political leader. What I can't tell is whether you honestly don't wish a father/husband/son/brother/friend with a serious medical condition well. Is that really who you are? You don't like a guy on policy terms so you hope he has a bad outcome. Perhaps you could find a native speaker/writer to help you compose your reply.

TYFCB. You have shown us something I believe many thought couldn't be found in this area.
