BRETT FAVRE COMPARABLE
1973, New York Mets: Willie Mays BA .211 HR 6 RBI 25
Just enough to keep him from getting 5% of the First Ballot Votes for the Hall of Fame.
Lesson: Don't tarnish the legend.

Thinking about posing this question...Whose routine is/was more annoying: Brett Favre or Roger Clemens?
jrg,
I've got better ones....
Is QNO a real news operation, or tabloid journalism? (When I can see public officials called things like Nazis and fascists, it's hard not to question that).
Do you report the news, or try to create it? (Taking pictures of city officials vehicles while at a golf course begs that question).
Are you fair in your reporting, or do you slant it to suit yours and Tookie's agenda? (I have to ask, considering a good friend of yours also participated in said golf outing, yet I saw no photo of his car on your web site).
While taking constant shots at John Spring, and allowing your readers to do the same, have you ever asked yourself how you match up with John when it comes to the issue community service? (John has served his commumity as an educator, fire & police commissioner and now mayor. You on the other hand, have done.....?)
Would your web site even exist if Tookie had been awarded the city recycling contract? (I think it's a fair question, considering QNO didn't exist until after the recycling contract was awarded. I just find the timing odd, especially considering the obvious pleasure you and Tookie seem to derive from taking shots at Mayor Spring).
Would you describe yourself as transparent, petty, or shallow?(Frankly, having followed your web site these past few months and seeing what little accountability you have, I think all three terms fit, but come on, which one would you pick?)
Finally, why are you no longer at WGEM? (I'm sure others are curious as well. I mean, you were news director of the top-rated news program in the market, and just like that, you were gone. Any particular reason why? Maybe you wanted to let your hair down, so to speak? Perhaps you wanted more freedom? Or perhaps it wasn't your choice...hmmmmm. I'm not implying anything, but I just want to make sure that when you're taking shots at a good public servant and family man, you measure up in the character test).
As they say Mr. Gough, inquiring minds want to know.
Three Choices here: Whack; Edit; Allow
Enough valid questions that Whack didn't feel right. Edit is an extreme step so I didn't go for it.
I don't like the personal attacks but JRG is a big boy and a public figure.
I may come back and whack/edit this later but let's see how it plays out for awhile.
Commenter, I think you could have made your points in a more useful and civil way.
Anon 10:40,
Give me your name and call me at 617-6665 and I'll answer all of your questions.
I wonder if you are the same guy sending me the threatening mail. I hope you are.
I responded once in another spot on this blog. But no more until you decide to give me your name.
I've got another three or four ad sales deals to close today, so I'm a little busy.
jrg,
While I may think 99% of what you put on your site is crapola, I have no respect for someone who sends threatening mail. To me, that's no better than stalking public officials in parking lots.
