CANTON: THE "ABBOTT EFFECT"
Look, here's how it is. New Blood @ Culver-Stockton is WAY UP!
Of course, CSC has just signed veteran Free Agent Judy Abbott to a large bonus contract (Her Agent, Scott Boras (No, this is not a typo), reports that the guaranteed portion is $17M but that's just a rumor).
A coincidence? I think not. Sign a star, sell tickets. Just so she doesn't go to Manny being Manny.

CSU is very well run with a very Proactive president and Board .
Judy being Judy
:)
Besides, she'd look terrible in the Predator Manny dreadlocks.
Good luck Judy!
I had 16 good years at the Courthouse. I started as Judge Schuering's clerk in 1992...and came back in 1993 to intern with Anita Rodriguez in Juvenile Court.
That seems like a life time ago.
But, it is time to move on and teach before I retire. Culver-Stockton is a great school and we hope to build the pre-law program over there. I am amazed at how many Culver grads there are here in Quincy. Everytime I turn around someone comes up to me and tells me they graduated from that fine institution.
I am proud to teach there....as I was proud of the years I worked in Juvenile Court.
Please come over and speak to my students some time.
As they should be most proud to have you and as I would be honored to speak to your students whenever you think it might be useful.
And yes, I remember those clerk days of yours. Funny how life deposits us where we need to be.
TYFCB.
