BEIJING: MUSINGS ON THE OPENING CEREMONY, MILLI VANILLI AND THE UNKINDEST CUT

I guess when you're talking about girl children, it doesn't matter much in China. You just tell the good singer she's too ugly to be seen so you just find Hannah Manchuria and have her lipsynch.

Maybe it's just me but about a billion guys on the stadium floor with large knives hacking in synch didn't fill me with peaceful feelings about our Chinese brothers. Welcome, round eyes and our esteemed Japanese friends. With a head attached to your neck is optional.

And what was with goose-stepping? 1936 called. It wants its ceremony back.
