It's a debt that we may never be able to repay,all many of us can give is our thanks and prayers.
As far as short on appreciation,read "The Spitting Image" by Lembke it casts a very different light on the returning soldiers and the Nixon response to the anti-war movement.It might be the worst injustice to our soldiers in our times.
