Ah, Lootie,

Hint: It's a play on words

1158,

Farmer and Small Businessman--If he were a republican, Chamber and Farm Bureau would be salivating.

Real Question is: Does the MMadigan commitment stay the same?

I thought this guy was a union leader. I haven't see that mentioned by any of the democrats spinning this guy.

"Farmer and Small Businessman"

Seriously? Come on now. Union leader from the smallest county in a Rep district? What gives?

And the answer to your question is most likely absolutely not.

I'll assume by your uncharacteristically absent simultaneous comment concerning Street's Republican credentials (sorry about that, it was as painful to type as it is to read), that you don't necessarily believe your initial assessment of his candidacy.

2347,

It's essentially a GOP district, with the GOP Candidate being resident of the swing county. That's not a day at the beach for a dem. from a small county on the edge of the district's major TV outlets.

The resigning candidate is one of my best friends and this fellow is someone I barely know. Someone asked me to size him up. That wasn't the purpose of the thread but I tried to do a summary of what I know. I'll write more as he shows his stuff.

BTW, Chuck enjoyed the play on words.
