OH, WAIT: JUST FOUND THIS SOIREE FROM "ONMYHONOR"

Again, no dispute with the BSA's right to keep its current policies and no quarrel with those who will withdraw from BSA if the policy changes.  Whatever gets one up in the morning.

But the arguments are instructive.

This is a 37 minute "I'll pretend to listen to you if  you'll pretend to listen to me" fest.  I suggest you watch some of it, especially the women, then slide to about minute 19-21:30 to see Mr. Dunn's less edited version.

To view the vid click here.

I am nearly speechless.

Nothing like a bunch of mouth-breeders spewing hate and intolorence. And the guy Kyle Moore feels should represent Quincy in a legal capacity, is the biggest d-bag of them all. I can only hope someone in our local media calls attention to this, but I won't hold my breath.

Dunn's appointment would immediately let the human rights commission and its membership know where they stand under Moore's leadership and administration. Interesting start this kid is having. campaign on bringing the community together to better quincy yet devisive actions to tear that community apart.

I don't agree with it, but he has the right to his beliefs and the right to say what he wants to say. Will it have ramifications on his public life, I would say yes. But calling someone a d bag because he has a different view than you is really a sad statement on our society. Your intolerance is almost as sad as Mr Dunn's.

anon 4:20, When it comes to narrow-minded bigots, I absolutely have no tolerance. And if you feel my indignation at his comments is "sad" then so be it, that is a badge I will proudly wear. I never said he didn't have the right to state his beliefs, but if he is going to be a representative of MY community, those belief's should have a bearing on his suitabilty for this position. If he believes this in regards to the BSA, are you so naive to think he doesn't hold these beliefs on homosexuality as a whole? What I find "sad" is that someone who is supposedly educated, would continue to harbor such hateful and insensitive thoughts.

Calling Mr Dunn a d-bag is an insult to d-bag's. Our new mayor has made a very poor decision to bring this man "and soon his wife" along for the ride. Considering his past, I am amazed he is still even in this area, Mr Dunn that is, not the mayor. He has no morals to him. He is the exact example of do as I say, not as I do. Then he gets on his church soap box, give me a break.
