INTERLEAGUE PLAY AND OUR PRECIOUS BODILY FLUIDS

Have I mentioned lately that interleague play is an abomination to the human spirit and threatens (with due credit to Colonel Batguano and Dr. Strangelove) our nation's precious bodily fluids?

I try not to do it more than once a year and the abomination is about to begin.

I'm done now.

Four things I don't like about baseball: Interleague play, the DH, a strike zone the size of a small cereal box and a schedule too heavy on division opponents. The Cardinals have played the Reds 9 times already, with another 3-game series starting May 31.

I agree on the schedule. You need to have more than one chance to see the Dodgers when they come to Chicago or St. Louis.

I like interleague play when its Cubs/White Sox. It blows when it is Pirates/Royals.

I know, there is no remedy for that.
