No way...how distant of a cousin?
Best I can make of it, his GGF and my GF were seconds. Does that make me a sixth, once removed?
Due to family feuds and emigration. It is very difficult to tell but it is fun to ponder. Kind of like the White Guy from NEMO who is BHO's cuz. That was cool.

congrats ... that is interesting.
I'd bet most of us are related to the founding fathers if we go back six generations. Eight generations including once removed we are all related to Ben Franklin.
but that is nifty ... cousin. :)
Yeah, it might just be the six degrees of Kevin Bacon but it feels weird, especially him being a Repub and all.
Of Course my Scottish peeps are all Repubs too but they have an excuse, they're terminally rich.
