Mentesti's an easy target. He's keeping a sunny upper lip. You expect him to say "Hey, we've just whacked 120 School Employees and a highly skilled machinist here makes about a third of what he would make in Kane County?"
"Life is Good" is a terminally stupid slogan but the guy's got bosses. Cut him a little slack.

I'm sure the government visitors in town aren't paying rack rates at the hotels either. Hope we aren't keeping regulars away.

In 2000, the advance and SS peeps paid the gov't rate. The vendor didn't have to wait too long for the money either.
