DRIVING WHILE CAFFEINATED AND OTHER POLYDRUG OFFENSES

The Illinois Attorney General is seeking a regulatory opinion on a drink mixing caffeine and alcohol here.

There is concern that this will be bad for young people. I sort of thought people under twenty-one weren't supposed to drink alcoholic beverages anyhow.

No word yet on how this will effect Cafe Royale or homemade Jolt and Grey Goose cocktails.

Also no word on the impact of this noble activity upon the 11-13 Billion dollar deficit our State currently carries.

Gee, this is a tough one Lisa ... is it better for our drunk teenagers to fall asleep at the wheel from lack of the added caffeine, or should we hope they fall asleep drunk BEFORE they get behind the wheel?

There are also no studies to prove that watching football and drinking is a safe combination, so we should suspend all football games pending further studies. (of course another prohibition would harm the tax base, so that is not a consideration).

Would it be racist to mention "Irish Coffee"?

But with Irish Coffe you aren't likely to sit there drinking 'em one after another until you get drunk, if for no other reason than the sweetness would kill you first. :)
