OUR NAFTA PARTNERS IN THE WAR ON DRUGS

This is just my own, little quirky opinion but it seems to me that the money we are putting into our partnership in the drug war with our Mexican friends might be proverbial sand dow a proverbial rathole.

A clue would be when Mexico's Drug Czar is on a monthly bribe of $500,000.00 a month.

Somplace in there is a sign we need a new plan.

Also, a clue is that most guns confiscated don't come from the USA.
We can't do anything about other country's gun runners. The AK's don't come from here.

You'll never hear that from Brian Williams, NBC NIGHTLY NEWS, only that THE AR-15 found in an arrest was sold/stolen from a legitimate gun dealer here in the US.

Come on, Mexico is powerless to help themselves. Kill whatever dealers we find and move on.

The 60 minutes piece really honked me off. NINETY-FREAKIN-FIVE percent of the guns "come from the USA."

Well, they were built here. Like there's no Bolivian or Latvian illegal arms dealers.

Fine point, and a weakness in MSM coverage of the situation.

BTW, I think the Attorney General's position that we should restrict certain weapons because it would make MEXICO safer is horsefeathers--but I'm gonna write about him later.

If you do write about Holder, and you think you have enough space here to cover all the bad things he has planned for us, your simply-

wrong !

I'm not exactly sure when it happened, but at some point I decided it was time to declare victory on the War On Drugs and go home.

One of the few things I agree with Obama on is his decision to stop raids on medical marijuana users in California. Even our own "progressive" State O' Illinois wants to allow medical marijuana use.

Of our last three POTUS, Obama alone has the moral authority to declare marijuana use legal, so that it can be taxed and regulated like booze and ciggies.

Obama has admitted he is no stranger to the bong, as opposed to GWB who said "no comment" and Wild Bill Clinton who claimed he "didn't inhale".

#42 and #43 were obviously lying, but so what? Obama is desperate for new tax revenue and taxing grass would rake in more moolah than the idiotic cap & trade that he is promoting.

So I say, Barack Obama, tear down this wall of illegal marijuana and let a thousand cannabis plants bloom!
