ALL STAR GAME: THE UNSHOT GUN
I guess the NL was saving Albert Pujols for the Halloween Party.
Wonder whether Brad Lidge would have rather faced Albert or Aaron Rowand in that situation.
Bummer, 'Night.

I have been a Cardinal fan my whole life - I have yelled "LARUUSSAAA!" to the heavens on more than one occasion, last night included. I know how Tony works - this was about hubris - he is always right you know. He also constantly focuses on respect - to him - he did not want to disrespect Rowand by replacing him with Pujols. Tony likes to think of himself as smarter than everyone else - the ASG was a great example of that.
