SO, YOU'VE ALWAYS WANTED TO BE A TEST PILOT

Firefox 2, Beta is available. All they ask is that you tell them when you hit snags. I'm down wit' dat.

Also, Google has a new simple free (my favorite price) spreadsheet out.

This Blog favors no particular software producer but will occasionally point out a Beta or a freebie (a/k/a "Lootie")

A little off topic, ok a lot, but Tony what are your thoughts on the FEC returns of our two congressional candidates. What is your take on why Hare has so little indivdual contributions versus Zinga's? Do you feel it is just because he entered the race late, or is their just no a lot of excitement surronding him?

No, it's more than that. For too many reasons to list REmmanuel was in favor of another candidate. All the big house dem money moves with Rahm and he wasn't in any big hurry to make nice with Phil. That'll all pass but it did show up in this first split. RE has made his point now.

Self-appointed Oracle Chuck Cook has deemed 17 "not safe" but his running buddies at HRCC don't seem to agree. They're more interested in Beating Duckworth and Bean. I am particularly pleased at their emphasis on beating Duckworth. The GOP is doing an excellent job of uniting our party in that district. It had been bitterly split and a lot of people, while admiring Duckworth, felt they had Democratic Washington's poster child rammed down their throats. That is now fading fast.

Anyhow, regarding money for Phil, there will be peace in the valley soon.

"REmmanuel was in favor of another candidate."

Who was he in favor of?

"he wasn't in any big hurry to make nice with Phil."

That wouldn't be because of Phils past actions would it?
