I really have no choice, I can't sponsor a site that has negative comments about any of my clients on it. Thus, I must have the option to whack, even though I have never had to use it.
Especially sites that purport to commit journalism almost have to moderate in some fashion. I can see how you can get around it but I have seen a lot of sites melt down because of vicious, unmoderated comments.
