In other news, The Cardinals will continue to display their 10 Championship flags while the Cubs will continue to serve beer during their games.
I've come to trust LaRussa- he's the baseball man not me- but I hope McGwire didn't get hired based on his work with Chris Duncan in the offseason.

In a golf digest article some years ago (comparing his baseball swing with his golf swing), McGwire stated he had no idea where he held his hands or spread his feet in his baseball batting stance. This is the best hitting mind the Cards could find?
