COMCAST TEAM MEETING: NO GOOD CAN COME OF THIS

There is a sign on the ComCast HQ building that says the office will be closed next Tues. for an "All Employee" meeting. Wonder whether the number of "All Employee(s)" will be the same after the meeting as it was before.

They don't need a meeting to discuss how to raise prices or provide crappy service--"just keep doing what you're doing, Boys and Girls."--so there has to be some major strategic purpose for this conclave. My guess is something like "The front desk is now in Macomb."

Happy Tuesday, ComCasters.

I really like my AT&T DSL , I get darn near the same speed for a boat load less per month and I am not on a shared node .

Comcast has a nasty reputation for limiting certain kinds of Internet traffic. I guess they don't want those pesky internet video sites competing with them.

Traditional cable companies are going to struggle in the Internet age until they offer consumers what they want (only the shows they want to pay for and nothing more), when they want (on demand).

Most of the triple pack features aren't available in this area anyway. To call the Qcy office, only gets you referred to an 800 number. Big headache, but I hope there aren't any layoffs.
