Does anybody on this pitching staff have a pair? Could we just once go up and in on Prince Fielder, even flip him a little. Otherwise why don't you just put it on a freakin' batting tee.

Win your own freakin games in FLA! Just cause your cursed, blame everyone else. Won one last night, are you happy? Cubs lost another "tough" one. We'd use a tee, but Marmalaid had it in place for Cabby. That was shot.

Damn Cub fans, always wanting other teams to do the dirty work.

I have waved the white flag...
How can I argue with this...

Can I say, "Wait til next year!"

If I were complaining about the Cards not winning, that would be a very valid argument.

My specific point of contention was that every St. Louis pitcher was failing to up and in on Fielder. As soon as you do that, you grant him power to all fields. God Bless the Wednesday night pitchers, Tony must have talked to them, for playing the game the way it was intended to be played. Win or lose play the game correctly.

BTW, Cards never got any help last year in their juggernaut regular season of 83 wins (The same number the Cubs happen to have now!)?

You're completely correct, that, if the Cubs can't take care of business, they don't deserve it. I have no problem with that. I just don't like to see any big league pitcher become a house pet.
