Anybody with competitive spirit and about half a brain buying the Cubs would be a relief but Mark Cuban would be Nirvana. He'd spend money. He'd insist on player development. He'd get a strong baseball man in place to make deals. He'd advocate for the fans, even the ones on the rooftops.
