GOOD NEWS, BAD NEWS IN LITTLE ROCK

The bad news is that, 50 years after troops were called out to desegregate High Schools in Little Rock, the court case about desegregation is still going on.

The good news, for the original lawyers, is that nobody can blame them. They're mostly dead.

Isn't that the best kind of lawyer?

Depends how badly one is in need of legal services.

The next civil right should be desegregating the money from the failing union monopoly. I favor forced segregation of failing teachers.

School vouchers could allow blacks to use tax money for a better education. Providing a big salary and early retirement for even the terrible teachers, at the expense of the kid's education ... is certainly not civil.

Bill,

Whatever we are doing now in education is flat not working. I've got an open mind about anything that doesn't disadvantage one demographic of children over another.
